Base Salary
$190k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support end-of-day index calculation platforms.
- Tune application and system performance and troubleshoot performance or scalability issues.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering teams to triage and resolve platform issues.
- Integrate internal applications with third-party and vendor software platforms.
- Set up and maintain development environments and sandboxes for application development and testing.
- Maintain version control and configuration management practices.
- Perform unit testing, identify defects, and implement code quality and stability improvements.
- Interface with relational databases to extract data, generate outputs, and build reports.
- Work with business users, customers, and cross-functional IT teams to gather requirements and support platform functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
- Five years of experience in software engineering or a related occupation.
- Five years of experience including Java, J2EE, Java Messaging Service, Enterprise JavaBeans, advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Big Data, microservices, Spark using Java, Hadoop Distributed File System, advanced Python, infrastructure, CI/CD, DevOps, Ansible, Fortify, Jenkins, AWS services, QA automation, Oracle Database, networking, and Unix scripting.
- Experience with AWS EC2, EMR, Lambda, S3, and Glue.
- Experience with Cucumber, Selenium, and Karate for QA automation.
