Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the architectural vision and runway for the EMEA Train.
- Review and validate complex technical designs across distributed development teams.
- Define system boundaries, interfaces, integration models, and architectural decisions.
- Drive reuse, harmonization, technology-standard alignment, and technical-debt management.
- Coordinate architectural governance and dependencies across business domains, Solution teams, and adjacent Trains.
- Participate in PI Planning, System Demos, ART Syncs, architecture communities, and other SAFe events.
- Support modernization, AI adoption, automation, observability, technology upgrades, and quality improvements.
- Provide architectural clarification for customer-facing stakeholders and custom developments.
- Coach and guide others through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Significant depth and breadth of expertise in the relevant technical area.
- Broad understanding of business and technology environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience guiding architecture across multiple teams, products, and business domains.
- Ability to align technical decisions with security, performance, integration, and engineering standards.
