Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Automate build, release, deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration processes.
- Deploy, configure, administer, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
- Containerize applications and support development teams with container-based deployment strategies.
- Maintain container registries and manage image lifecycles.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions and manage cloud infrastructure and platform configurations.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, performance metrics, and proactive issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot application and platform issues and support critical production deployments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testing teams, and operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, participate in architecture and release activities, and drive DevOps practices across project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes and container platform experience.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and release management.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Linux administration, Bash, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, TLS/SSL, reverse proxies, and ingress controllers.
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevSecOps practices, production troubleshooting, and critical deployments.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, Java/Spring Boot, .NET application deployments, Helm Charts, enterprise migrations, and platform optimization.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Desired certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Kubernetes Security Specialist, Terraform Associate, and AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications.
