Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad or companywide enterprise impact.
- Define strategy, architecture, operating models, and actionable roadmaps for AIOps and Zero Touch Production.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex large-scale technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for technology solutions.
- Build intelligent, autonomous operations using AI/ML, observability, automation, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop self-healing systems and closed-loop remediation workflows to improve resilience and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with senior engineering, platform, SRE, business, technical, and external industry stakeholders.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, resolve complex technical issues, and influence senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Deep expertise with AIOps platforms and tools such as Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk, ITRS Geneos, BigPanda, and OpenTelemetry ecosystems.
- Experience applying AI/ML to IT operations, including anomaly detection, event correlation, forecasting, and intelligent alerting.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform and with event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering practices.
- Experience building self-healing systems and closed-loop remediation workflows.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data pipelines, Kafka streaming platforms, and telemetry ingestion and processing.
- Familiarity with GenAI/LLM-assisted operations, including incident summarization, knowledge mining, and automated runbook generation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, architectural design, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-complexity engineering initiatives and influence senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
