Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Define and execute strategic DevOps maturity and developer-experience goals.
- Lead automation for deployment, scalability, cost optimization, and system reliability.
- Design and enforce zero-downtime maintenance strategies across multi-cloud environments.
- Serve as a technical subject-matter expert for infrastructure security and compliance best practices.
- Optimize monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Troubleshoot reliability issues across the network, Kubernetes, and operating-system layers.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product, Development, Security, and Operations teams.
- Evaluate and integrate tools and contribute to DevOps best practices, technical strategies, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in a monthly on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and zero-trust architecture.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve full-stack infrastructure issues.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement DevOps best practices.
- Preferred: experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of FinOps strategies for cloud cost management.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-driven operations and observability tools.
