Responsibilities
- Develop secure identity and access management solutions for customers.
- Spearhead new feature development for account management needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand authentication infrastructure requirements.
- Design systems that keep pace with Mapbox's rapid growth.
- Promote operational excellence through testing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Optimize for technical debt reduction and knowledge sharing.
- Lead presentations and discussions to communicate work and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex technology solutions.
- Experience building scalable web services or distributed cloud-based architecture.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive projects to completion.
- Desire to share expertise through documentation and mentorship.
- Strong proficiency in a programming language and testing practices.
- Familiarity with tech stack including React, node.js, AWS, and NoSQL is a plus.
