Responsibilities
- Own backend product capabilities end to end across various domains.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify needs and shape the roadmap.
- Design developer-facing APIs and system behaviors with attention to detail.
- Build, operate, and debug reliable backend systems across multiple technologies.
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional engineering experience in relevant backend roles.
- Exceptional backend engineering depth with a track record of shipping API capabilities.
- Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives and influencing product direction.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, and enterprise platform controls.
- Strong communication skills and developer empathy.
