Responsibilities
- Build robust, high-quality software solutions for Citi’s margin and collateral technology platform.
- Help shape the target state of a highly automated platform with minimal manual intervention.
- Develop solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, or React.
- Build RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Spring.
- Work with event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the engineering culture and manage multiple priorities across global teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or React.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with popular frameworks such as Spring.
- Experience with event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend UIs.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Experience applying TDD and clean-code principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
