Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable agentic AI frameworks for Oracle Database services, including reasoning, planning, multi-step execution, diagnostics, and autonomous tool use.
- Architect, standardize, and manage highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient global database platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for server lifecycle management, OS hardening, storage provisioning, credential injection, and fleet-wide configuration enforcement using version-controlled Ansible.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, shared templates, multi-stage deployments, artifact management, integration testing, and promotion workflows.
- Establish testing, tracing, evaluation suites, and human-in-the-loop safety guardrails for autonomous production actions.
- Apply secure, Git-disciplined development workflows with feature branching, merge requests, traceable commits, and collaborative code review.
Requirements
- 13+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years with Oracle database technologies such as RAC, ASM, and DataGuard.
- Deep Linux system administration expertise, including kernel tuning, storage management, and sudoers policy.
- Strong Ansible proficiency, including playbooks, roles, Jinja2 templating, and dynamic task dispatch.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates for multi-project mono-repositories.
- Knowledge of Spec Driven Development, tool calling, context management, Model Context Protocol integration, multi-agent coordination, and policy enforcement.
- Desirable experience with Oracle 26ai Graph, Oracle AI Vector Search, HashiCorp Vault, or CyberArk.
- Open-source contributions and published papers are desirable.
