Responsibilities

  • Lead security solutions and drive customer adoption for the server CPU program.
  • Drive PSIRT bug fixes to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Consult with internal and external customers on AMD security features and programming requirements.
  • Deliver customer and internal security training.
  • Use AI tools to identify and resolve security issues.
  • Track SoC and IP development trends to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Provide technical and cross-functional debugging support for customer security issues.
  • Deliver architecture specifications and review internal and external proposals.
  • Collaborate with product and system architects, RTL, physical design, software, and bring-up teams to deliver security solutions.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience focused on computer architecture and security.
  • Strong understanding of register and firmware access protections at chip, system, and product levels.
  • Proven ability to define and follow through on pragmatic security requirements.
  • Expertise in system-level modeling, testing, characterization, trend analysis and projection, and model verification.
  • Understanding of computing and graphics architecture.
  • Understanding of CPU security, power, performance, software and firmware access, and system-level trade-offs.
  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
