Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Develop tooling to support initiatives such as data pipelines.
- Design development-pipeline security solutions with security engineers, including DAST and SAST capabilities.
- Support HashiCorp Vault and other security tooling.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for security and infrastructure systems.
- Automate operational and security processes to reduce manual effort and risk.
- Support secure configuration and runtime protections for Kubernetes and Docker environments.
- Assist with incident response and remediation for infrastructure and deployment systems.
- Evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and security posture.
Requirements
- Strong programming and scripting skills.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments across multiple clusters and environments.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of security fundamentals including secrets management, least privilege, and vulnerability management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive work to completion.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred familiarity with policy-as-code tools such as OPA or Sentinel.
- Preferred experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Background in high-performance or low-latency environments is a bonus.
