Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, create, review, and execute functional, integration, regression, and ETL test cases.
- Apply business and functional knowledge to validate software quality.
- Test data from databases through UI reports and modify database test data when required.
- Identify, record, and help resolve defects with the development team.
- Review requirements and test cases and participate in peer reviews.
- Collaborate with development, QA, business users, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to product innovation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and application testing, including ETL testing.
- Mandatory experience with database testing and SQL queries.
- Mandatory ability to test data from databases through UI reports.
- Mandatory knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM.
- In-depth knowledge of the software testing lifecycle.
- Preferred knowledge of Spotfire and automation testing.
- Preferred experience with Jira.
- Ability to work in an Agile methodology.
