Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories, business requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and quality risks.
- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution documentation.
- Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing for Salesforce and related enterprise applications.
- Test Salesforce business processes, Flows, validation rules, objects, fields, permissions, profiles, record types, configurations, and customizations.
- Design, execute, and maintain reusable automated regression tests using Copado Robotic Testing or similar tools.
- Test APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, inbound and outbound interfaces, data migrations, data conversions, and data synchronization.
- Document, track, and retest defects while communicating severity, evidence, business impact, and quality risks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business, product, development, and cross-functional teams to improve software quality and QA processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce platform applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
- At least 2 years of experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
- At least 2 years of experience with test automation, preferably Copado Robotic Testing or similar enterprise automation tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Preferred experience includes testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms, Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices.
- Preferred certifications include Salesforce certifications and professional certifications such as ISTQB, ASTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or CQSE.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, defect-management, communication, English-language, collaboration, and quality-ownership skills.
Benefits
- Initial one-year contract position.
- Second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST in the local time zone.
- Work hours may occasionally require flexibility for earlier, later, or additional hours with reasonable notice when possible.
