Responsibilities

  • Analyze user stories, business requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective.
  • Identify requirement gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and quality risks and collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify expected behavior.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, test data, and execution documentation.
  • Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, negative, data migration, and data validation testing for Salesforce and related enterprise applications.
  • Test Salesforce business processes, Flows, validation rules, objects, fields, permissions, profiles, record types, configurations, and customizations.
  • Design, execute, and maintain reusable automated regression tests using Copado Robotic Testing or similar tools.
  • Test integrations involving APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, and inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Validate data migration and conversion accuracy, completeness, transformation, synchronization, record counts, and exception handling.
  • Document, prioritize, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and business impact.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates, status updates, and quality-risk reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes, automation coverage, regression coverage, defect prevention, and software quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce platform applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
  • At least 2 years of experience performing functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
  • At least 2 years of experience with test automation, preferably Copado Robotic Testing or similar enterprise test automation tools.
  • At least 2 years of experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications and professional certifications such as ISTQB, ASTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or CQSE.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, defect-management, communication, English-language, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to independently analyze requirements, identify quality risks, balance comprehensive testing with delivery timelines, and improve testing efficiency.

Benefits

  • Initial one-year contract position.
  • Second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST in the employee’s local time zone.
