Responsibilities
- Analyze building automation requirements and design upper-level software architecture covering frontend interfaces, communication modules, data processing, and microservice backends.
- Develop cross-platform Windows and macOS monitoring applications using Electron and React or Vue.
- Design and implement backend services for device management, data storage, alarm processing, and other core modules.
- Develop or integrate BACnet protocol stacks and connect building equipment using protocols such as Modbus and OPC UA.
- Integrate and debug the system with onsite controllers and sensors while ensuring stable, real-time data transmission.
- Create test cases, optimize performance, resolve compatibility issues, and maintain system scalability, security, and user experience.
- Write technical documentation and provide technical support to engineering and other teams.
- Work with application engineers and product managers to implement intelligent building solutions and support onsite customer-related debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Building Automation Control, or a related field.
- More than 3 years of software development experience in building management systems or industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of BMS architecture and BACnet, including protocol development or integration experience.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, serial communication, Modbus, and MQTT is preferred.
- Proficiency with Electron and cross-platform desktop application development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and familiarity with React or Vue.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture and proficiency with Spring Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Java, or Python and familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or time-series databases.
- Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, communication, and independent system-analysis skills.
- Experience with OPC UA, Matter, ECharts, D3.js, energy management systems, industrial visualization, open-source projects, or technical blogging is a plus.
