Base Salary
$240k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java applications and libraries.
- Design, build, debug, and operate distributed systems.
- Design and evolve messaging protocols and software libraries.
- Apply testing to support software correctness and performance.
- Measure, benchmark, and profile components and systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug Java applications.
- Participate in code reviews and pair with team members.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and documented code.
- Keep current with emerging Java development trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in Java server-side software development.
- Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems.
- Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries.
- Experience applying testing for software correctness and performance.
- Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and participate in a test-driven and Agile development environment.
