Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain threat models for Leo Enterprise, Manufacturing, Lab, and Launch Operations domains.
- Perform manual and automated secure code reviews in Java or other common programming languages.
- Conduct network and infrastructure assessments.
- Develop security automation tools.
- Provide security training, outreach, architecture guidance, and design guidance to internal development teams.
- Solve novel security problems and influence team and partner processes, priorities, and choices.
- Respond to builder-team security questions and evaluate organizational performance for architectural defects.
- Propose security initiatives and perform incident root-cause analysis, including five-whys analysis.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- At least 2 years of scripting, programming, and security code review experience in a common programming language, excluding internships.
- At least 2 years of troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks with command-line tools, excluding internships.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or experience in IT security.
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of combined threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security experience.
- Preferred: experience with AWS products and services.
- Preferred: experience performing security activities during software development lifecycle phases such as security design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing.
- Candidates must satisfy applicable export-control requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
