Responsibilities
- Develop modular, well-structured code and contribute to overall systems design and research.
- Evaluate vendor-supplied applications and develop recommendations.
- Build custom front-end and back-end services for internal solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy internal business applications supporting technology lifecycle, collaboration, service delivery, and data intelligence.
- Conduct and oversee application module testing to ensure specifications are met.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with analysts and business process owners.
- Provide requirements gathering, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for web applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Four years of experience working with Java or Python and ETL tools.
- Four years of experience in process improvement, systems integration, or change management.
- Experience with coding, data management, and data analytics.
- Preferred master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and converting them into technical requirements.
- Preferred hands-on experience building software for large-scale database systems using Big Data, relational, and NoSQL data stores.
- Solid foundation in design, data structures, and algorithms.
