Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java backend services, Java EE enterprise applications, React frontend components, REST APIs, and database integrations.
- Design and implement application features based on business and technical requirements.
- Build maintainable, scalable, reusable, and testable backend and frontend components.
- Develop, consume, integrate, and troubleshoot RESTful web services.
- Create responsive React interfaces meeting usability, accessibility, and performance requirements.
- Work with relational databases and SQL for data access, validation, issue investigation, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, designers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering, security, coding, documentation, and data-handling standards.
- Debug and resolve application defects and technical issues.
- Support testing, deployment, release activities, production support, and post-production issue resolution.
- Maintain source code, technical documentation, test evidence, and implementation deliverables.
- Participate in Agile planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and other team ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing Java-based applications.
- Experience with Java EE and Java web frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JSF.
- Practical experience developing React-based frontend applications and components.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, data models, persistence, transactions, and application data access.
- Experience developing or consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience using Git or an equivalent version control system.
- Experience participating in requirements analysis, development, testing, code review, deployment, and support activities.
- Understanding of secure software development, authentication, authorization, access controls, input validation, secure error handling, and sensitive-data protection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, React routing and state management, frontend testing, Java build tools, CI/CD, cloud environments, monitoring, logging, performance optimization, security testing, and relevant certifications.
