Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications and systems.
- Complete software builds using common development tools, components, documentation, and development practices.
- Perform code reviews and automated testing to maintain high-quality code standards.
- Support and monitor software across test, integration, and production environments.
- Follow security and regulatory best practices for software compliance.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Integrate AI tools into coding, testing, debugging, and documentation workflows.
- Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for accuracy, quality, engineering-standard alignment, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience with Java technologies, including Vert.x, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, Ignite, Spark, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Kafka, and Yellowbrick.
- Hands-on experience with application design, software development, and automated testing.
- Experience with distributed multi-tier systems, algorithms, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to interpret technical and business objectives, develop solutions, learn new technologies and domains, investigate issues, and identify software defects.
- Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
