Base Salary
$190k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, maintainable, and secure service architectures.
- Identify opportunities for platform-wide improvements and new service development.
- Contribute to long-term platform vision and engineering standards.
- Build backend services using C# and TypeScript.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Design, containerize, and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS or similar platforms.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Apply security best practices across applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure reliability and scalability through test automation and performance optimization.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs with robust monitoring.
- Explore and implement AI/ML-driven features in applications.
- Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Debug and resolve complex backend issues.
- Contribute to engineering culture by modeling ownership and accountability.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and share learnings.
Requirements
- Proficiency with C# and TypeScript for backend services.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, with PostgreSQL expertise preferred.
- Expertise in system architecture for secure and scalable platforms.
- Broad experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or equivalent cloud.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices including Git and CI/CD.
- Expertise in application and infrastructure security best practices.
- Strong understanding of testing and automation practices.
- Experience in performance optimization for reliability and scalability.
- Proficiency in third-party API integration and management.
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML applications in production systems.
- Demonstrated mentorship ability to elevate team impact.
- Proven experience in ambiguous, complex problem spaces.
