Responsibilities
- Design and ship conversational interfaces and AI-driven iOS experiences.
- Architect and build production-grade Swift features using async/await, structured concurrency, and modern iOS APIs.
- Implement context-aware experiences using behavior, preferences, and application state while prioritizing performance and privacy.
- Use analytics, metrics, A/B testing, logging, and validation to iterate on features and improve quality.
- Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into intuitive mobile interactions.
- Use Claude Code and other LLM-based coding assistants while maintaining a high-quality, well-tested, and secure codebase.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Swift skills building high-quality iOS applications.
- Deep knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK, including Swift concurrency, async/await, Task, actors, structured concurrency, and modern GCD usage.
- Production experience with SwiftUI and familiarity with UIKit interoperability.
- Experience with Combine or other reactive patterns and judgment about when to use them versus async/await.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization for AI-powered, stateful, and real-time features.
- Experience with JSON, REST, WebSockets, streaming APIs, and robust networking layers including error handling, retries, and offline support.
- Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, and push notifications.
- Interest in new interaction models including chat, agents, and multimodal interfaces.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot with attention to code quality and security.
- Familiarity with LLM-driven features, prompt design, LLM API integration, latency handling, fallbacks, guardrails, and/or conversational UX.
- Track record building consumer-facing apps, ideally including App Store launches and iteration based on user feedback and metrics.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
