Responsibilities
- Understand application capabilities and explain technical limitations to data and process owners and consumers.
- Build and maintain the operational aspects of the platform, including vulnerability remediation, security, logging, monitoring, auditability, and data integrity.
- Monitor platform support channels and address customer questions and issues.
- Maintain Google Workspace features and best practices and improve file storage, governance, audit, legal, and retention processes.
- Intake, provision, and deploy solutions across lines of business.
- Lead platform availability, resilience, and scalability and align platform architecture and configuration with the Architecture team.
- Use HTML, Python, SQL, and Robo-copy scripting for integration and platform work.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, scripting, orchestration, and content-management technologies.
- Use Docker, ECS, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS services and tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms.
- Improve platform user experience and automate legacy processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity.
- At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools.
- At least 1 year of experience driving testing, using testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms.
- Preferred: 4+ years in a cloud-based environment using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: 3+ years with Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory deployment tooling.
- Preferred: experience with identity and access management, integration frameworks, reference architectures, and mentoring or leading small integration initiatives.
- Preferred: 2+ years automating infrastructure or system configuration with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: 2+ years administering Google Workspace or a similar enterprise productivity suite.
- Preferred: familiarity with CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog for monitoring, logging, and observability.
