Staff Software Engineer - Azure Cloud Developer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly available backend cloud services and customer-facing applications.
- Build and integrate backend services, APIs, cloud-native components, messaging solutions, and event-driven architectures.
- Lead technical innovation, architecture discussions, design tradeoffs, and scalable implementation strategies.
- Own production software components and support reliability, monitoring, releases, service health, and L3 issue resolution.
- Apply unit testing, static code analysis, secure development lifecycle practices, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering, customer operations, QA, SRE, and support teams across distributed locations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade cloud services.
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET and .NET Core, object-oriented design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with IoT Hub technologies, cloud databases, identity and access management, authorization frameworks, APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with active-active multi-region architecture and Azure services for resilient, zero-downtime systems.
- Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, EventHub, API Gateway, Load Balancer, Traffic Manager, and IoT solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Crucible, SonarQube, or similar tools.
- Ability and willingness to provide L3 production support and work in the office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and independent ownership skills.
