Responsibilities
- Review and improve security detection and response playbooks and identify automation opportunities.
- Partner with engineering teams on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation activities.
- Use AWS and GCP cloud-native security tooling to monitor and protect public cloud environments.
- Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and audits using Wiz and CrowdStrike.
- Investigate suspected attacks, manage security incidents, perform post-mortem analysis, and develop preventive measures.
- Promote Security by Design across engineering teams and the wider business.
- Lead cybersecurity programs, define roadmaps and milestones, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Enhance security orchestration and automation knowledge through continuous learning and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 3–5 years leading large-scale cybersecurity implementations.
- Experience defining and leading multiple cybersecurity programs for large organizations.
- Advanced experience in one or two security domains across enterprise and cloud infrastructure, including threat detection and mitigation.
- Experience leading projects and programs, defining roadmaps and milestones, advising senior management, and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading engineers and analysts while collaborating with external team members.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS Security, or GCP Security.
- Preferred expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security, vulnerability and risk management, advanced threat detection and prevention, security architecture patterns, software development practices, automation, and basic AI knowledge.
