Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end, including data model, Rails API, and front end.
- Build product surfaces on top of LLMs and agents.
- Partner with a team lead or AI Engineer to develop greenfield features.
- Engage with product leadership to prioritize and scope projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience, including API design and building.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6 and a modern front-end framework, preferably React.
- Comfortable working across the full stack, including relational databases like MySQL.
- Experience with agentic workflows and handling non-deterministic output.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, REST, and JSON.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Thrive in fast-paced startup environments and adapt to changing priorities.
