Responsibilities
- Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, mission-outcome-focused solutions.
- Design, configure, integrate, test, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon’s platform.
- Build with and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments.
- Own the full lifecycle from deployment and adoption through optimization and ongoing customer success.
- Build AI-powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations, then drive hands-on adoption and measure impact.
- Assess operational workflows, define success metrics and baselines, and iterate solutions until adoption and outcomes improve.
- Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
- Build trusted relationships with agency leadership and operational stakeholders and lead QBRs, mission reviews, and strategic planning.
- Capture customer insights, workflow patterns, and adoption barriers to inform Product and Engineering roadmaps.
- Turn successful builds into reusable playbooks and operational frameworks and identify expansion opportunities with Sales.
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence of approximately 3–4 days per week and support Sales-to-Post-Sales onboarding and handoff.
Requirements
- Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
- Demonstrated experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments, including configuring products and writing integration logic.
- Ability to work across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
- Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
- Ability to operate with full ownership in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and navigate priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
- Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
- Preferred experience includes public safety, law enforcement, corrections, mission-critical operations, Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, integrated public-safety ecosystems, forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale.
