Base Salary
$145k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan and influence the lifecycle of new hardware platforms.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of new hardware platforms from design to deployment.
- Debug complex hardware/firmware issues using lab tools.
- Design and implement remote server management capabilities.
- Develop low-level security features like Secure Boot and TPM 2.0.
- Write and maintain software components in C/C++, Python, Golang, and RUST.
- Collaborate with vendors on requirements and system delivery.
- Work closely with hardware engineers and system architects for seamless integration.
Requirements
- Preferred B.S or M.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and strong Python skills.
- Strong interest in CPU architecture and data center hardware.
- Experience with BMC firmware and management protocols like Redfish.
- Experience with BIOS/UEFI development preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hardware platforms and system-level debugging.
- Solid Linux skills and ability to root-cause across HW/FW/OS boundaries.
- Good verbal communication and collaboration skills.
