Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable back-end applications, services, and business logic.
- Design, build, secure, and optimize APIs, data storage solutions, and cloud-based back-end services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, secure logging, and monitoring practices.
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using monitoring and observability tools.
- Contribute to scalable software solution design and delivery against functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, code integrity, and CI/CD-integrated testing practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and API development.
- Strong back-end development experience with Java, PHP, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Node.js.
- Experience with APM, monitoring, and observability tools including Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic APM, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience designing and securing APIs, implementing event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka, and supporting Case Management solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git-based workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication and authorization standards.
- Professional experience in competition policy environments.
- Master’s degree and 10 years of experience, or 17 years of experience.
- Optional AWS Certified Developer Associate, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, or equivalent certification.
- English proficiency at B2+ level and ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
