Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for network and observability platforms.
- Define and execute functional, integration, performance, scalability, and regression testing strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements, create test cases, and identify risks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster delivery.
- Analyze test results, investigate root causes, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Drive test coverage, automation metrics, reporting, and broader quality initiatives.
- Use logs, metrics, and traces to validate network behaviors and platform reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in networking and load testing.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, Robot Framework, or JUnit.
- Preferred experience with TCP/IP, BGP, SNMP, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Experience integrating tests with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar delivery pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team influence skills.
- Preferred experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices testing, network performance testing, monitoring, test data management, and network traffic simulation.
