Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
- Analyze application behavior under load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability scenarios.
- Create and execute API performance tests using Postman and integrate them into performance testing workflows.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
- Identify bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide system optimization recommendations.
- Prepare performance test reports covering findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
- Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, and architecture discussions from a performance perspective.
- Improve performance testing processes, frameworks, and automation capabilities while maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
- Experience designing and executing load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of application performance concepts, methodologies, metrics, and bottleneck analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration, Linux, monitoring tools, and performance test automation is a plus.
