Responsibilities
- Automate, deploy, and secure customer-facing cloud solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Identify and eliminate constraints across the product life cycle with Software Development, Product, and Operations teams.
- Develop monitoring and alerting for AWS infrastructure and deployed software.
- Administer Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes environments, databases, and automation tooling.
- Support internal and production system availability and participate in the on-call rotation when needed.
- Create technical and procedure/process documentation.
- Occasionally travel as required.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a similar SRE, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or DevOps Engineer role.
- Understanding of software architecture and the software development life cycle.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts.
- Experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, and AWS CLI.
- Expertise with Terraform and familiarity with Ansible.
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD automation tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Argo CD.
- Linux administration experience with Ubuntu and Red Hat.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one scripting language such as Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, LogicMonitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience querying SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Neo4j.
- Experience producing technical and process documentation.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Experience with JFrog Platform or Artifactory, message queue systems, AWS Well-Architected Framework, VPN solutions, communication tool administration, data engineering and analytics solutions, or identity and access management tools is advantageous.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
