Responsibilities
- Maintain service reliability and meet availability, performance, and recovery objectives.
- Prevent and resolve incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent improvements.
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Prepare infrastructure for growth while considering capacity, workload, performance, security, and resilience.
- Reduce technical debt and repetitive operational work through continuous improvement and automation.
- Own services end to end from development through production support.
- Promote continuous delivery and DevSecOps practices through small, frequent, low-risk changes.
- Lead post-incident reviews, continuity exercises, and disaster-recovery activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams.
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer and in DevOps.
- Experience with programming, CI/CD, production support, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Splunk, Datadog, and AppDynamics.
- Operational mindset with ownership of production services and focus on resilience.
- Bias toward action, evidence-based decision-making, and completing deliverables.
- Strong collaboration, technical leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate incidents, explain solutions, and drive improvements across teams.
