Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software and testing components across systems or applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive API test plans and test cases.
- Develop automated API tests using relevant tools and frameworks, including Postman and Rest Assured.
- Perform UI automation using Selenium with Java.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and apply performance and security testing principles for APIs.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication on project objectives and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in API testing.
- Proficiency in API Testing.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks relevant to API testing.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of performance testing and security testing principles for APIs.
- 15 years of full-time education.
