Responsibilities
- Drive migration toward AI-augmented automation frameworks for GKE and Kong API Gateway.
- Lead P1/P2 incident response for business-critical applications and develop automated self-healing playbooks.
- Build and hand over automated AI-assisted patching cycles for GKE nodes and Kong instances to support continuous CIS compliance.
- Develop custom automation in Go or Python to integrate the cloud-native stack with AIOps platforms.
- Create and refine technical documentation and runbooks using Generative AI for operational knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in production Kubernetes environments.
- Deep specialization in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and mandatory Google GKE administration experience.
- The posting lists total experience requirements of 7–13 years and an experience range of 8–10 years.
- Experience with incident leadership, infrastructure automation, security patching, cloud-native tooling, and Go or Python scripting.
