Base Salary
$98k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems and computing capabilities for government sponsors across diverse mission domains.
- Participate in the full software engineering lifecycle, including software design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to cloud engineering, DevSecOps, full-stack development, embedded systems and IoT, AI-enabled software, or mission-based software engineering projects.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and apply user-centered design principles to software development.
- Collaborate with colleagues while contributing independently to technical challenges and learning new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with two years of related experience, or a relevant master’s degree with applied experience.
- Experience developing software in at least one modern language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Go, or Rust.
- Working knowledge of software development practices, the software lifecycle, DevSecOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, automated security, and automated testing.
- Experience with development tools and frameworks, including Git, and proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, D3, and a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, Vue, or React.
- Experience using wireframing and design tools for user interface and user experience development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, including obtaining a Secret clearance within one year of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required to be considered for a security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced technical degree, active clearance, cloud-provider familiarity, database knowledge, generative and large language model knowledge, user-centric engineering experience, and full-stack or DevSecOps delivery experience.
