Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications across front-end and back-end components.
- Build backend services, APIs, and application logic using Python.
- Develop user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and languages.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, geospatial data, and other data sources.
- Write, test, debug, and maintain reliable software.
- Use Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Contribute to application deployment, automation, and technical documentation.
- Work with users and technical team members to understand requirements and build practical software solutions.
- Research unfamiliar technical problems and evaluate new tools and approaches.
- Identify system improvements while considering current architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with full-stack software development, including designing, developing, modifying, and implementing custom software applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with web development frameworks and technologies such as React, JavaScript, Python, NodeJS, SQL, middleware, application or data integration, API development, or core application systems.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, software testing, and dependency or package management.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database development, including PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git and source control.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Experience with application containerization using Docker or Podman.
- Ability to independently research technical problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a STEM field.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience with geospatial visualization frameworks such as Cesium JS, ArcGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox, or Maplibre GL.
- Preferred experience with AWS deployments, including ECS or EC2.
- Preferred experience with system design, scalability, reliability, API development, OAuth, and defense modeling and simulation problem sets.
- Top Secret clearance is preferred.
