Base Salary
$140k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of full-stack features and services using React and TypeScript on AWS infrastructure.
- Lead projects end to end from kickoff through release.
- Set technical direction for major system areas, including architecture and key trade-offs.
- Design and maintain the public API and MCP server.
- Use AI to help the team build and ship faster.
- Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Partner with product and other Vibes teams to shape and deliver customer value.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the stack.
- Improve the system and engineering practices based on customer feedback and usage.
Requirements
- Formal education in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of significant production systems.
- Deep full-stack expertise and strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience designing and building APIs and backend services.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development while maintaining quality and ownership.
- Experience owning ambiguous problems and driving them to resolution.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading feature work.
- Strong ownership, accountability, communication, collaboration, and comfort in fast-moving environments.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
