Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for customer implementations, integrations, and workflow builds from scoping through production rollout.
- Architect and build workflows that encode customer processes and integrate with external systems.
- Develop platform components and integration tooling to standardize deployment patterns and reduce one-off work.
- Design practical solutions for complex environments, fragmented data, and operational edge cases.
- Provide firsthand customer and field insight to product and engineering teams.
- Participate in a hiring process including a recruiter call, live-coding interview, paid onsite work trial, and reference checks.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex, production-critical systems.
- Strong command of TypeScript and Node.js, including debugging and integrating with external systems.
- Experience with AI-driven systems, including tuning agent behavior, refining prompts, and shaping workflow logic from customer feedback.
- Exceptional communication and judgment when balancing speed, reliability, and real-world constraints.
- Must be based in Chicago and willing to travel 20–30% to customer sites.
