Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend systems and integrations that support AI-powered decision intelligence and supply chain workflows.
- Build services that reduce manual effort and enable collaboration among customers, carriers, and supply chain partners.
- Own and modernize core platform services including identity and access management and search infrastructure.
- Transform large-scale logistics data into recommendations, decision support, and automated actions.
- Partner with product, data, and design teams to turn ambiguous customer problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Build and operate systems on Google Cloud Platform using managed services.
- Share ownership of development, testing, deployment, operations, on-call support, and issue resolution.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and operational tooling to support system reliability.
- Contribute to technical designs, code reviews, documentation, and engineering quality standards.
- Mentor and support other engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience building large-scale, cloud-based systems.
- Strong programming and debugging skills with proficiency in Java.
- Experience designing and building scalable Java-based microservices.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and web services, including REST and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Experience working with NoSQL and/or relational databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Postgres.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
- Ability to integrate AI-assisted workflows into daily development while maintaining code quality, security, and correctness.
- Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, ownership, curiosity, and resilience.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
- Helpful experience includes Kafka or Kinesis, Docker, Kubernetes, agentic AI systems, LLM-powered workflows, and platform or framework solutions for AI-driven automation.

- Base salary range is $130,000–$190,000, with stock options, potential bonus or commission eligibility, and country-specific benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- The role requires working onsite at the headquarters 3 days per week.
