Base Salary
$173k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and solve problems from end-to-end across various systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to develop new features.
- Uphold high engineering standards and ensure consistency across codebases.
- Build APIs and user experiences that help merchants scale their businesses.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of Stripe’s infrastructure for future growth.
- Work with peer engineering teams to implement critical systems for financial decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Six years of experience in Software Development.
- Experience with at least two programming languages: Java, Ruby, Scala, Python, or SQL.
- Familiarity with tools like Spark, IDE, and AWS.
- Experience in developing user-facing experiences and analyzing experiment results.
- Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud-based services such as gRPC, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
