Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Keet Mobile for iOS and Android across chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup.
- Own features end to end, from UI/UX implementation through integration with the on-device peer-to-peer core APIs.
- Integrate native capabilities including push notifications, camera, biometrics, and background tasks.
- Profile and optimize startup time, long chats, media handling, battery usage, and network performance on real devices.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and help maintain stable releases through CI and crash reporting.
- Collaborate with the core peer-to-peer, design, and product teams and review code to a high quality standard.
Requirements
- Significant experience with React Native, Redux, and Redux-Saga.
- High proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with remote teams and interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.
- Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin and familiarity with Xcode or Android Studio are advantageous.
- Experience building with peer-to-peer frameworks is a bonus.
