Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve Deezer’s Internal Developer Platform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Own the platform’s long-term technical vision and define standards for infrastructure as code, GitOps, build, deployment, monitoring, and security tooling.
- Identify and eliminate friction across the software lifecycle, track DORA and SPACE metrics, and prioritize platform investments.
- Integrate and operationalize AI capabilities and tools such as intelligent code review, anomaly detection, smart test generation, GitHub Copilot, and LLM-based assistants.
- Embed security-by-design through secure CI/CD, supply-chain integrity, least-privilege access, DevSecOps practices, and policy automation.
- Define SLOs and SLAs, ensure full-stack observability, lead incident response, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure, and Security teams; mentor engineers and represent DevXP in architectural forums.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps, including 3+ years at senior or expert level.
- Track record of operating platforms at scale and fluency with test-driven development, trunk-based development, and continuous delivery.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, and GCP/GKE.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, SLO/SLI, and error-budget management.
- Hands-on integration of AI tools into engineering workflows and familiarity with MLOps.
- Ability to provide technical influence without direct authority, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly.
- Nice to have: Jenkins, Ansible, Cloud Run, testing strategies, Python, Go, Bash, OpenTelemetry, DevSecOps pipelines, SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM, SLSA, OPA, Kyverno, and zero-trust principles.
