Responsibilities
- Design and execute in-sprint test cases for new features and enhancements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites and test automation frameworks.
- Test application functionality, performance, and reliability across desktop and cloud-hosted applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects with development teams.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and improve automation coverage and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, testers, and stakeholders to define test strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on scripting experience with C#, Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, defect management, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks for desktop and/or web applications.
- Familiarity with exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Experience or exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and contribute to framework design or test infrastructure improvements.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, evaluate technical challenges, and participate in proof-of-concept activities.
