Responsibilities
- Design and evolve complex, modern, scalable, maintainable software architectures.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to development teams during implementation.
- Define backend, API, microservices, cloud-native, container, and orchestration architectures.
- Ensure technical quality, scalability, sustainability, and alignment with business needs.
- Lead technical decisions and serve as an architectural reference for multidisciplinary teams.
- Communicate and justify architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee development lifecycle concerns including testing, quality control, technical debt, and observability.
Requirements
- Six years of experience in software architecture or a closely related area.
- University degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field; other degrees may be considered when relevant knowledge is demonstrated.
- Strong backend development experience in Java, preferably in microservices environments.
- Experience designing and exposing APIs and applying architectural patterns and best practices such as clean or hexagonal architecture, resilience, and decoupling.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure and/or AWS, and cloud-native architectures.
- Architectural understanding of frontend applications using Angular and mobile applications on Android and iOS, including backend integration.
- Ability to lead teams technically and communicate architectural decisions to varied audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Orientation toward solution quality, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
