Responsibilities
- Embed directly with clients to understand business and technical challenges and translate ambiguous problems into executable engineering solutions.
- Own AI solution outcomes end-to-end from discovery and prototyping through production deployment.
- Design and build LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, agentic workflows, and orchestration pipelines.
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise data platforms, APIs, and external systems.
- Optimize solutions for latency, cost, accuracy, scalability, security, reliability, and observability.
- Convert proofs of concept into production-grade enterprise deployments and develop reusable accelerators, frameworks, and reference architectures.
- Develop cloud-native architectures across Azure, AWS, or GCP and collaborate on long-term support and scaling.
- Deliver 2–4 production-grade client AI use cases within the first 6–12 months and demonstrate measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML.
- Strong hands-on system-building and production deployment experience.
- Proven ability to deliver solutions in client-facing or highly ambiguous environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Ability to independently own complex, high-impact solutions and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, agentic workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred experience integrating AI systems with enterprise data platforms and using OpenAI, Claude, Cursor, Palantir, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with DevOps, infrastructure automation, MLOps, model monitoring, and frontend or UI development for AI applications.
- Prior Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience and experience building AI or data products are preferred.
