Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve full-stack application architecture using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and/or React.
  • Design scalable microservice-based, event-driven distributed systems with asynchronous patterns, resilience, loose coupling, and horizontal scalability.
  • Embed testability, observability, fault isolation, graceful degradation, and quality gates into architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define AI-first engineering standards and best practices using AI-powered development tools across the SDLC.
  • Lead test automation, contract testing, performance/load testing, and quality engineering practices at the architecture level.
  • Establish coding standards, design patterns, architectural decision records, and technical roadmaps across product engineering teams.
  • Conduct architecture and system design reviews and drive technical alignment across services and teams.
  • Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers on architecture, quality engineering, AI tool adoption, and full-stack development.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, QA leadership, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and quality engineering playbooks while identifying technical debt and quality risks.

Requirements

  • BE, B.Tech, or M.Tech degree.
  • 10-15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a leading or staff engineer role.
  • Deep expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Angular and/or React with TypeScript.
  • Experience owning application architectures covering service decomposition, API design, data modeling, and system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven programming, asynchronous design patterns, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with relational databases including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in test automation, unit, integration, end-to-end, contract, and performance/load testing.
  • Experience embedding linting, static analysis, test coverage thresholds, security scanning, and automated regression into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with AI-powered development tools and defining AI SDLC standards for engineering teams.
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, architecture documentation, and mentoring engineers across multiple teams.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS or equivalent cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, build and release tooling, API management, observability platforms, cloud-native architecture, and security architecture principles.

Benefits

  • Flexible collaboration between remote and in-person work.
  • Inclusive culture focused on teamwork, diverse experiences, and professional development.
