Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end multi-tier web applications with modern user interfaces, APIs, data models, and data management.
- Develop full-stack solutions using Java, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and related technologies.
- Design APIs and support data exchange using JSON, flat files, Parquet, Avro, and ORC.
- Implement scalable application architectures and microservices.
- Design schemas, author complex SQL queries and data scripts, analyze data, and optimize database performance.
- Work with relational databases and technologies including table partitioning, data distribution, parallel loads, and extracts.
- Support software development, testing, system implementation, and rotational post-production operations.
- Collaborate with team members, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the team knowledge base.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is generally expected.
- Strong Java programming and full-stack software development experience.
- Front-end development experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and related technologies.
- Strong DBMS expertise, including schema design, complex procedures, SQL, data analysis, and performance optimization.
- Experience with multi-tier architectures and the software development and system implementation life cycles.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with microservices, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and MongoDB is preferred.
- Python knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide rotational post-production support.
