Base Salary
$206k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale data processing and storage from terabytes to petabytes and beyond
- Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with numerous electronic health record systems
- Improve core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers
- Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout
- Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to define, prioritize, and deliver ambitious engineering goals
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on scalable backend systems and platforms
- Deep experience with storage systems, cloud-native services, open source projects, the Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices
- Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles
- Systems-level understanding of distributed systems, component interactions, customer journeys, and data flows
- Technical vision, leadership skills, and the ability to drive that vision into implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders
