Base Salary
$264k - $380k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision for Snowflake Intelligence.
- Lead the architectural design of multi-agent systems and NL-to-SQL engines.
- Establish methodologies for measuring and guaranteeing LLM performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to align AI capabilities with business goals.
- Design extensible context engineering patterns for internal and external use.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and lead cross-functional teams on projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in LLM-based applications.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of LLM orchestration and prompt optimization.
- Proven track record of designing complex systems integrating AI with traditional data stacks.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical trade-offs.
- Experience in a Principal or equivalent high-level IC role or leading major AI product launches.
